WhatsApp Web is finally making its way to the iPhone. WhatsApp Web lets users access their messages in Chrome, bringing one of the world’s largest messaging platforms to the desktop.

WhatsApp web version allows users to utilize the messaging service on a web portal to send and receive messages. The service was launched earlier this year for Android users. Now, WhatsApp has quietly pushed the service for iPhone users as well.

In contrast, iOS usually topped the pecking order when new apps are being rolled out, but this wasn’t the case. Some Symbian phone even got WhatsApp web client before now.
That has changed, but some say the web client for iOS won’t be available to all iOS users immediately; it would be rolled out in phases.
To access WhatsApp Web on your iPhone you have to scan the QR code given on the official website of WhatsApp Web.

It should be noted here that WhatsApp had blamed Apple responsible for such a late update owing to its platform limitations.
Make sure that you have the latest version of the app installed in your phone to access Whats App Web. If not, update it. Then open the settings of the app and you will see a ‘Whats App Web’ button which will open a QR code scanner to scan the QR from web.whatsapp.com. Once you have scanned the code, you will be good to go.
